I have been estimating electrical construction since 1986 and my projects have taken me as far as Guam, but the majority have been in California. I estimate, project manage, and supervise a team of estimators. Our team uses McCormick Systems estimating software (of which I have earned the distinguished title of Desert Dog for conference attendance) in conjunction with a custom spreadsheet I have developed over the years for recap. We have an engineering department and specialize in design/build projects, but win many through the traditional bid process. Our projects include wineries (there are many in California!), schools and universities, hospitals, telecommunications projects, power plant maintenance, parking structures, and the list goes on...
